Exceptionally interesting is sire Chacco Blue, the unrivalled number 1 on the world ranking list of the best jumping horse progenitors. On the starting order of many Grand Prix’s all over the world you’ll find offspring of Chacco Blue who unexpectedly passed away in 2012. The demand for his children is huge.

After a career at 1.40m level with Carly Anthony (USA) the 10yo mare Kwasabi van ‘t Heike is now available for breeding again. She has the golden genes of top progenitors Cardento (winner of team silver at the World- and European Championships and the Olympics in Athens) and the famous Darco and goes back to Lugano van la Roche, who has been one of the pillars of Belgian breeding. Lugano sired 10 approved sons, one of whom is Darco (!).

Kwasabi’s dam Volympia van ‘t Heike performed at 1.50m level and passes on her quality to her offspring. Four of them are jumping at international level. Grand Prix horses at 1.60m level are Evian van ‘t Heike (Nabab de Reve), rider Fabio Sarti (BRA), and Fair Light van ‘t Heike (Vigo d’Arsouilles), ridden by Alberto Zorzi and Edwina Tops-Alexander. Volympia is also an aunt of five 1.60m Grand Prix horses, among who the famous Olympic mare Valentina van ‘t Heike (Jos Lansink).
